Captain Post-Exotic and the Xeno-Colonialists is a field recording project resulting from various collaborations. The premise of this record focuses on the notion of the last man and the end of history in the context of Post-Colonial, Post-Industrial and Post-Humanist discourse. Based on the concept of Pure War, this project is a parody that communicates the often paradoxical nature of contemporary South Africa and the manner in which history repeats itself in diverse, oxymoronic manifestations and iterations.
